Sophie Leigh is a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator, currently based in North East England. She is a graduate of Sunderland University in Illustration & Design and has shown work at D&AD New Blood Festival.

She works in a variety of styles ranging from traditional watercolours to digital painting creating works based around everything from animals and pet portraits, to dark fantasy illustrations. Her personal artwork aims to explore and provoke feelings deep within the beholder. Artwork can range from intense details to loose and expressive and always comes packed with research and a deep understanding of the subject matter.

Sophie has had her artwork featured in the sandbox MMO game Wurm Online since 2018, and a number of published book covers by author James SM Parker, as well as a long list of pet portrait clients from around the world.
